Ce magazine évoque l'histoire des grands paquebots transatlantiques, étonnant de l'appeler "La Grande histoire des croisières".. Aucune évocation des paquebots précurseurs des croisières maritimes : rms Franconia, ms Lafayette..
Ce n'est certes pas un document historique précis : on relève hélas des erreurs mais l'ensemble des documents présentés sont assez intéressants.
Des oublis importants : ss United States, ss Europa / Liberté, et les fabuleux paquebots italiens : Rex, Conte di Savoia par exemple...
Pas de représentation du rms Queen Elizabeth 2 qui a été le dernier des paquebots transatlantiques classiques et a navigué de 1969 à 2008...
On y trouve des images de différents paquebots qui ont jalonnés l'histoire transatlantique : ss Great Eastern, rms Lusitania, rms Titanic, rms Olympic, ss Normandie, rms Queen Mary (1936) et aussi Queen Mary 2.
Il faut reconnaitre que la plupart des documents concernant le paquebot ss France sont peu connus..
Malgré toutes les imperfections, pour le modeste prix de 7,50¤ il ne faut pas hésiter à l'acheter.

This special issue of the magazine “HISTOIRE POINT DE VUE” evokes the history of the big transatlantic liners, amazing to call it "The Big history of the cruises" .. No evocation of the precursory liners as cruise ship: rms Franconia, ms Lafayette ..
It is not certainly a precise historic document: we raise regrettably errors but the set of the presented documents is rather interesting.
Important oversights: ss United States, ss Europa/Liberté, and fabulous Italian liners: Rex, Conte di Savoia for example ...
No representation of the rms Queen Elizabeth 2 welle known as QE2 which was the very last one of the classic transatlantic liners and sailed from 1969 till 2008 ...
We find images of various liners which marked out the transatlantic history: ss Great Eastern, rms Lusitania, rms Titanic, rms Olympic, ss Normandie, rms Queen Mary (1936) and also Queen Mary 2.
It is necessary to recognize that most of the documents concerning the liner ss France are little known ..
In spite of all the imperfections, for modest 7,50¤ price you should not hesitate to buy him.
